Strepsils Plus Anaesthetic Lozenges 48s

Strepsils Plus Lozenges have been formulated to give effective relief from medium to more troublesome sore throats. Their dual action formula contains a local anaesthetic to numb the throat while the two antibacterial agents help kill the bacteria which can cause sore throats and mouth infections. The efficacy of an antibacterial agent in lozenges in reducing the severity or duration of throat infections has not been clinically established.

Each lozenge contains Lidocaine (Lignocaine) hydrochloride monohydrate 10mg, Dichlorobenzyl alcohol 1.2mg and Amylmetacresol 600µg.

Dissolve one lozenge slowly in the mouth every 2 hours as required. Strepsils Lozenges are suitable for adults and children over 6 years. Not suitable for children 6 years and under. No more than 8 lozenges to be taken in any 24 hour period. If symptoms persist for more than two days accompanied by fever, headache or nausea consult your doctor.
